E! Launches iPhone and Android Apps through Rhythm

E! IPhone And Android: E! Entertainment Television plans to launch a free app for the iPhone and Android platforms this week, followed by other devices later. The apps will have video and display ads, and include multimedia, video and photos. “In the first quarter of 2009, E! Online delivered 43 million page views to 1.3 million unique users on mobile phones, double the number from the fourth quarter of 2008. The Web site reached 4 million unique visitors per month in the first quarter, up 20 percent compared with a year ago; video views online for the quarter reached 83 million, up 75 percent from a year ago,” reports TV Week.
