Ellen DeGeneres Is In Your iPhone or iPod Touch, Rhythm Sells Advertising

Ellen DeGeneres celebrated her 52nd birthday by introducing the Ellen iPhone and iPod Touch application during Tuesday's installment of The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

The app, created in partnership with Rhythm NewMedia, features exclusive celebrity video content and exclusive videos shot by DeGeneres with her iPhone, including never-before-seen footage of practical jokes and the host interacting with her guests.

The Ellen app also allows fans to browse and navigate through DeGeneres' latest monologue, video clips, pictures from the show and her blog and Twitter feed. The full-screen video player features advanced navigation controls, and content can be easily saved or shared via email.

DeGeneres said:

Today we are launching our very own app. If you have an iPod Touch or an iPhone, you can download the Ellen App from iTunes for free. And then you'll get to see who is on the show. You can follow my tweets, you can see exclusive clips you won't see anywhere else and it has a complete list of telephone numbers of all my guests.
